Roller Shackle close left right

Roller Shackle

TOPONE Roller Shackle is a marine rigging component designed for wire rope guiding, pulling and suitable lifting applications. Featuring a high-strength forged steel body, grooved roller and hexagon bolt pin with a securing nut and cotter pin, it helps reduce rope friction and wear during operation. Available in reference sizes of 25mm, 28mm and 32mm, with Safe Working Loads (SWL) from 3 to 5 tons, it is suitable for marine, offshore and industrial rigging systems.

  • Introduction

TOPONE Roller Shackle combines a forged steel shackle body with an integrated grooved roller for smooth wire rope movement and reduced friction. The hexagon bolt pin, securing nut and cotter pin provide a secure connection, while optional hot-dip galvanized or painted finishes offer corrosion protection.

Designed for marine rigging, shipboard rope handling, offshore operations and industrial pulling systems, our roller shackles are available in reference sizes from 25mm to 32mm. TOPONE supports custom roller dimensions, connection sizes, materials and surface finishes for different applications.

    Technical Notes:

The listed dimensions and SWL values are reference specifications.

The ton unit must be confirmed against the approved product rating.

The nominal size designation must be checked against the final technical drawing.

Rope diameter must match the roller groove and approved application.

The complete shackle assembly, including the roller, pin and locking components, must be suitable for the applied forces.

Final materials, bearing construction and customization options are subject to technical confirmation.

    Standards

    Name: Roller Shackle

    MOQ: To Be Confirmed

    Package: Carton + Steel Pallet

    Manufacturing Standards:

Manufactured according to approved technical drawings, material specifications and dimensional requirements. The forged steel body, roller, hexagon bolt pin, nut and cotter pin must meet the confirmed product design.

ASME B30.26 may provide relevant requirements for rigging hardware where applicable. Any claim of conformity must be supported by product-specific documentation.

Hot-dip galvanizing may be evaluated according to ISO 1461 where applicable to the material and finishing process.

    Testing Standards:

Product inspection and testing may include:

    Material and dimensional verification

    Visual inspection of forged components

    Roller groove measurement

    Roller rotation inspection

Bolt pin, nut and cotter pin inspection

    Surface finish inspection

    Working load verification

Proof-load testing according to applicable requirements

Load ratings, test results and certificates must correspond to the actual supplied product.

    Application Standards:

Select the roller shackle according to its verified SWL, compatible rope diameter, connection dimensions and intended working conditions.

The shackle, roller, pin, rope and supporting connections must be suitable for the forces generated by the complete rigging arrangement.

Avoid overloading, shock loading, improper side loading and incompatible rope sizes. Do not assume that the assembly permits unrestricted swiveling under load.

The equipment must not be used for personnel lifting unless specifically designed and approved for that purpose.

    Maintenance Standards:

Inspect the forged body, roller, bolt pin, nut, cotter pin and related components before operation.

Check for cracks, deformation, excessive wear, corrosion, loose fasteners and restricted roller rotation.

Clean salt deposits and other contaminants after marine use. Maintain moving components according to the approved lubrication instructions.

Replace damaged or missing locking components with manufacturer-approved parts. Remove defective shackles from service until they have been evaluated and approved for continued use.
