TOPONE Marine Snatch Blocks guide wire rope through suitable marine lifting and pulling arrangements. The reference design uses a heat-treated forged alloy body and a roller bearing sheave with a grease fitting. Select the block according to its verified working load limit, rope diameter and connection method.
Marine rigging exposes blocks to repeated rope movement, moisture and demanding working conditions. A marine snatch block helps change the direction of a wire rope while providing access to the sheave during rigging setup. The block must be connected to a suitably rated attachment point and aligned with the rope path.
· Construction: The reference configuration specifies a heat-treated forged alloy body, steel roller bearings and a pressure grease fitting. Confirm these features against the final TOPONE drawing.
· Available reference sizes: 5 in and 6 in, with listed safe working loads of 3 ton and 5 ton respectively.
· Rope compatibility: Select the matching 18–20 mm or 20–22 mm rope range shown in the parameter table.
· Applications: Suitable rated configurations may be used in vessel equipment handling, shipyard rigging and other marine lifting or pulling systems.
· Customization: TOPONE accepts requests for connection style, sheave size, rope compatibility and surface finish. The approved configuration determines the final rating and test requirements.
For a complete rigging arrangement, match the block with an appropriate steel wire rope and rated shackle. More application context is available in TOPONE’s marine engineering solutions.

· The table provides reference values for initial selection. Confirm whether “ton” denotes metric tonnes and check the rating marked on the supplied TOPONE block.
· Account for the force acting on the block when the rope changes direction. Verify the capacities of the block, rope, connecting hardware and supporting structure as one system.
Name: Marine Snatch Block
MOQ: 1 piece
Package: Carton + Steel Pallet
Manufacturing Standards: Manufacture and inspect the body, connection, sheave, axle, bearings and grease fitting against the approved product drawing. Confirm material grade, heat treatment and surface finish in the order specification.
Testing Standards: Check dimensions, sheave rotation, bearing function, connection security and working load marking. Any proof-load or breaking-load claim must be supported by the test requirements and records for the supplied model.
Application Standards: Select the block for the intended rope diameter and calculated block load. Use a rated connection and supporting structure, maintain rope alignment, and do not exceed the block’s marked working load limit.
Maintenance Standards: Inspect the block before use for cracks, deformation, corrosion, worn rope grooves, loose parts or restricted sheave rotation. Clean salt and debris from the assembly and lubricate the bearings according to the supplied instructions.
