Rigging Block

TOPONE Rigging Block is a galvanized wire rope pulley designed for lifting, pulling, and rope-guiding applications. Featuring a galvanized steel frame and cast iron sheave with a protective finish, it provides durable construction and smooth rope movement. Available in 2–6 inch reference sizes, with working load ratings from 0.25 to 2 tons, it is suitable for marine, construction, and industrial rigging applications.

  • Introduction

TOPONE Rigging Block features a galvanized steel plate frame and cast iron sheave with a protective lacquer finish. The galvanized construction helps resist corrosion, while the grooved sheave guides compatible steel wire ropes smoothly during lifting and pulling operations.

Designed for marine rigging, construction, machinery handling, and industrial maintenance, these pulley blocks are available in reference sizes from 2 to 6 inches, with safe working loads ranging from 0.25 to 2 tons. Different sheave sizes accommodate wire rope diameters from 8 to 19 mm.

TOPONE supports customization of sheave dimensions, connection fittings, and surface finishes according to specific application requirements.

    Technical Notes:

The listed SWL values and rope diameters are reference specifications.

The ton unit and final working load ratings must be confirmed against TOPONE's approved product specifications.

Rope diameter must match the corresponding sheave groove.

The load acting on the block attachment depends on rope tension and direction.

Customized specifications are subject to technical confirmation.

    Standards

    Name: Rigging Block

    MOQ: To Be Confirmed

    Package: Carton + Steel Pallet

    Manufacturing Standards:

Manufactured according to approved product drawings, dimensional requirements, and material specifications. The galvanized steel frame, cast iron sheave, axle, and connection components shall meet the confirmed design requirements. ASME B30.26 may provide relevant guidance for applicable rigging block configurations.

    Testing Standards:

Product inspection includes dimensional verification, visual inspection, sheave rotation checks, and examination of the frame, axle, and connection fittings. Working load verification and proof-load testing shall follow the approved product testing procedure where required. Any certification or compliance claim must be supported by actual test records.

    Application Standards:

Select the rigging block according to its verified Safe Working Load (SWL), compatible wire rope diameter, and operating conditions. Ensure that the block, rope, attachment fittings, and supporting structure are suitable for the forces generated by the complete lifting or pulling arrangement. Avoid overload, improper side loading, and incompatible rope sizes.

    Maintenance Standards:

Inspect the frame, sheave, axle, and connection fittings before use. Check for cracks, corrosion, deformation, excessive wear, and restricted sheave rotation. Clean and lubricate moving components according to the manufacturer's instructions. Remove damaged or defective blocks from service.
