Stainless Steel Shackle

Stainless Steel Shackle is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel with a 6:1 design factor and highly polished surface finish. It is available in Dee shackle and Bow shackle designs, including safety bolt and countersunk pin configurations. The shackle is suitable for marine, offshore, lifting, rigging, and corrosion-resistant applications with WLL from 0.4 t to 10 t.

  • Introduction

Stainless Steel Shackle is a corrosion-resistant rigging component designed for connecting chains, wire ropes, slings, and lifting accessories. Made from AISI 316 stainless steel, it provides reliable performance in marine and chemical environments.

Available in Dee and Bow configurations, the shackle can be supplied with safety bolt pins or screw/countersunk pins according to different connection requirements. Bolt type shackles are suitable for long-term installations, while screw pin shackles are designed for temporary connections and frequent assembly.

    Standards

    Name: Stainless Steel Shackle

    MOQ: 1 Piece

    Package: Carton + Steel Pallet

    Manufacturing Standards

Manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel with controlled machining, dimensional inspection, and surface polishing processes. The product is designed according to recognized rigging component manufacturing requirements and supplied with material traceability documentation upon request.

    Testing Standards

Each stainless steel shackle is inspected through:

    • Material verification

    • Dimensional inspection

    • Surface finish inspection

    • Proof load testing

    • Working Load Limit verification

    • Identification marking inspection

Test certificates and traceable 3.1 material certificates are available according to product requirements.

    Application Standards

Stainless Steel Shackles are suitable for:

    • Marine equipment connection

    • Offshore rigging systems

    • Stainless steel chain assemblies

    • Wire rope and sling connections

    • Corrosion-resistant lifting applications

    Safety requirements:

    • Load should be applied in line with the shackle body

    • Avoid side loading unless the WLL reduction is considered

    • Screw pin shackles are recommended for temporary connections

    • Bolt type shackles are recommended for permanent or long-term installations

    Maintenance Standards

Inspect the shackle before use for:

    • Pin damage

    • Thread condition

    • Body deformation

    • Corrosion or surface damage

    • Identification markings

Replace the shackle if cracks, deformation, excessive wear, or damage affecting the WLL are found.
