Delta Anchor is a High Holding Power (HHP) plow anchor designed for recreational boats, yachts, workboats, and commercial marine applications. Its one-piece construction, ballasted tip, and self-righting geometry enable rapid penetration and reliable holding performance in sand, mud, gravel, and mixed seabeds. Standard sizes range from 4 kg to 63 kg, with larger custom models available upon request. The anchor is manufactured from high-grade manganese steel or Duplex stainless steel, and is available in hot-dip galvanized or polished stainless steel finishes. The Delta Anchor has received Lloyd's Register General Approval as a High Holding Power anchor.

  • Introduction

Delta Anchor is a fixed-shank plow anchor developed to provide fast setting, reliable holding power, and simple recovery. Unlike traditional hinged plow anchors, the Delta Anchor utilizes a one-piece welded construction, eliminating moving joints while increasing structural strength and reducing maintenance requirements. The narrow plow-shaped blade and weighted toe allow the anchor to penetrate the seabed immediately after contact.

The anchor is manufactured from high-grade manganese steel for galvanized models or Duplex high-tensile stainless steel for corrosion-resistant applications. The ballasted tip, low center of gravity, and self-righting geometry allow the anchor to orient correctly during deployment and provide consistent holding performance across a wide range of bottom conditions including sand, mud, gravel, clay, and mixed seabeds. The anchor is also designed to self-launch from most standard bow rollers, making it suitable for modern anchoring systems.

Standard products are available in weights from 4 kg to 63 kg, covering boats from approximately 6 m to 27 m (20 ft–90 ft). Larger customized Delta Anchors can be manufactured for commercial vessels and offshore applications. The anchor is compatible with calibrated anchor chains, galvanized anchor chains, stainless steel anchor chains, and standard anchor swivels.

    Standards

    Name: Delta Anchor

    MOQ: 1 Piece

Package: Carton / Wooden Crate / Steel Pallet

Manufacturing Standards: Manufactured from high-grade manganese steel or Duplex stainless steel in accordance with ISO 1704, IACS Unified Requirement A1, and applicable marine anchor manufacturing specifications. The Delta Anchor holds Lloyd's Register General Approval as a High Holding Power (HHP) anchor and is manufactured using certified welding, machining, and dimensional inspection procedures.

Testing Standards: Each anchor undergoes chemical composition verification, dimensional inspection, weld inspection, mechanical property testing, proof load testing, visual inspection, surface coating inspection, and permanent identification marking before shipment. Individual Lloyd's Test Certification can be supplied upon request. Material certificates and inspection reports are available for every production batch.

Application Standards: Suitable for yachts, sailing boats, motorboats, fishing boats, patrol boats, rescue vessels, workboats, and commercial marine craft operating on sand, mud, gravel, clay, and mixed seabeds. The self-launching design is compatible with most standard bow roller systems and calibrated anchor chains.

Maintenance Standards: Inspect the anchor regularly for shank deformation, blade wear, corrosion, coating damage, weld integrity, and identification markings. Ensure the anchor remains compatible with the bow roller and anchor chain. Replace anchors showing excessive deformation or structural damage. Periodically clean galvanized or stainless steel surfaces to maintain corrosion resistance.
