Din 766 Chain close left right

Din 766 Chain

TOPONE manufactures and supplies DIN 766 short link chain for compatible anchor windlasses, mooring arrangements, barriers and other non-lifting applications. Available material and finish options include carbon steel, hot-dip galvanized steel and AISI 316 stainless steel. Select the chain by its dimensions and the equipment it must fit. This product is not for overhead lifting.

  • Introduction

DIN 766 chain is a welded short link chain with defined link dimensions. The current TOPONE parameter table lists nominal sizes from 2 mm to 32 mm. Material options shown on the product page include Q195 and Q235 carbon steel, high carbon steel, manganese steel and CM490; AISI 316 stainless steel is also listed as an available option. Specify the required material, size and finish when requesting a quotation, as availability may vary by configuration.

    Manufacturer

As a DIN 766 short link chain manufacturer, TOPONE can discuss chain dimensions, material selection and surface treatment according to the intended application. Our factory covers more than 15,000 m², including over 5,000 m² of manufacturing warehouse space, and its chain product range includes DIN standard chains. Manufacturing and dimensional requirements should be confirmed against the approved order specification.

    Supplier

As a DIN 766 chain supplier, TOPONE offers options such as natural finish, electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, blackening and other finishes listed for this product. Packaging options include sacks, reels, drums, wooden boxes and cartons. Customers can request a quotation with the required diameter, quantity, material, finish, delivery length and packaging method.

    Applications

    · Anchor windlass systems: DIN 766 short link chain may be selected for a compatible windlass. Check link diameter, pitch and the actual gypsy dimensions before ordering; the DIN 766 name alone does not establish equipment compatibility.

    · Mooring and general marine connections: Select the material and finish for the operating environment and verify the required strength against the complete system specification.

    · Fencing, barriers and security: Short links provide a compact chain format for non-lifting restraint and boundary applications.

    · General industrial use: Suitable for specified non-lifting connections where the link dimensions and material meet the equipment requirements.

For vessel anchoring systems requiring a classified marine chain, compare the project requirements with TOPONE’s Stud Link Anchor Chain. Standard DIN 766 chain on this page must not be used for overhead lifting.

    Standards

DIN chain, also known as German standard chain, can be divided into the following standards, DIN 766 chain (short link chain), DIN 764 chain (medium link chain), DIN 763 chain (long link chain), DIN 5685 chain, DIN 22252 chain

Name: DIN 766 Short Link Chain

    MOQ: 100 Meters

Package: Carton + Steel Pallet. Sacks, reels, drums and wooden boxes are available according to chain size and order requirements.

Manufacturing Standards: Manufactured as welded short link chain to the agreed DIN 766 dimensional specification. Material grade, link diameter, pitch, width, dimensional tolerances and surface finish are confirmed in the order. Carbon steel and AISI 316 stainless steel options must be specified separately; material choice alone does not establish a lifting rating.

Testing Standards: Inspect raw material identification, weld appearance, link dimensions, chain length and surface finish. Perform proof load, breaking load or other mechanical tests according to the specified chain grade and purchase requirements, with inspection records supplied as agreed. No test load value should be inferred from the dimensional table on this page.

Application Standards: Select the chain according to the intended non-lifting application, such as a compatible anchor windlass, mooring arrangement, barrier or security connection. For windlass use, verify the actual chain pitch and link dimensions against the gypsy. The product described on this page is not for overhead lifting. A DIN 766 dimensional designation by itself does not confirm that a particular supplied chain is approved as a lifting chain.

Maintenance Standards: Inspect the chain periodically for corrosion, damaged welds, deformation, wear and changes in link dimensions. Check that it runs correctly through the matching equipment. Clean and maintain the surface finish for the operating environment, and remove damaged or excessively worn sections from service.
