Grade 80 Lifting Chain

Grade 80 Lifting Chain (Load Chain)Grade 80 Lifting Chain (load chain) is the high quality chain product used for lifting chain applications. It uses superior quality alloy materials with Germany technology production line. It is a kind of lifting chain (load chain) with high tensile strength.G80 lifting chain (load chain) is strictly produced according to the standards ISO3077, EN818, AS2321, assuring 4 times safety coefficient and 2.5 times tested loading capacity. G80 chain can be polished, black-coated, paint-dipped, electroplated processes to adapt heavy humidity, acidic or alkaline bad conditions.

    Standards

    Name: Grade 80 Lifting Chain
    MOQ: 100 metres
    Package: Carton + Steel Pallet

Manufacturing Standards: EN 818-1 provides general acceptance requirements for electrically welded short-link lifting chain, while EN 818-2 covers Grade 8 medium-tolerance chain for chain slings and general lifting. ISO 1834 and ISO 3076 provide corresponding general acceptance and Grade 8 medium-tolerance chain requirements. Specify the applicable standard and edition on the purchase order, and verify the supplied batch against that specification.

Testing Standards: Verify chain diameter, pitch, width, weld dimensions, surface condition and markings against the approved specification. Check proof load, minimum breaking load and required mechanical properties using the methods and acceptance criteria of the applicable EN 818 or ISO standard. Record the results with the batch identification and provide the relevant test documentation for the supplied chain.

Application Standards: EN 818-4 applies when suitable Grade 8 chain and components are assembled into a Grade 8 chain sling. ISO 4778 applies to Grade 8 chain slings of welded construction where that design is specified. Select the complete sling by its marked WLL, configuration and lifting angles. For a chain hoist load chain, specify a separately verified fine-tolerance product designed for the hoist.

Maintenance Standards: ISO 3056 provides guidance for the selection, use, inspection and maintenance of non-calibrated round steel lifting chain and chain slings. Inspect the chain before use and arrange periodic examinations under the applicable site rules. Remove it from service if inspection finds cracks, deformation, severe corrosion, excessive wear, damaged welds or other rejection conditions in the governing instructions. Keep inspection records and follow the manufacturer's limits for use and repair.
